The first time you access GreenShield Pharmacy you will be invited to register.
You need to provide the following information when creating your GreenShield Pharmacy account:

Legal first name and last name (as indicated on your government ID)

Date of birth

Province of residence

Biological sex

Your biological sex is the sex you were assigned at birth. Medical professionals, including pharmacists, collect this information for the sole purpose of making informed medical decisions regarding your healthcare, treatments, and medications. If you have specified your gender in your WEBC profile, it will be stored separately from your biological sex.

If you are a resident of Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories or Yukon, you will need to upload a government-issued ID for identification purposes.
The information below is not required to sign up, and you will have the possibility to add it later. However, some features and services of our online pharmacy may not be available to you until you provide it.

Your preferred shipping address or pickup location

A valid payment method

Your provincial coverage information (health card, seniors over 65, Ontario Works, Disability, Trillium, OHIP+, etc.)

Your private insurance information, if any

A list of your prescription medications, medical devices and supplies, and other non-prescription products your pharmacist should know about

If you wish to transfer existing prescriptions, your current pharmacy's name and phone number

Select
Care, then select
Pharmacy, and Pharmacy.

On the registration page, enter your Preferred name (optional) and your Biological sex, then select Create Account.

On the Shipping Address screen, enter the address to which you would like to receive your medication, then select Save and Continue.

On the Payment Method screen, enter your credit card information and your billing address, then select Save and Continue.

You may skip this step for now, however you will need to add a payment method to your account before you can request a prescription refill.

On the Provincial Health Card screen, select whether you have a health card, then select Save and Continue.

If you select I have a health card, you will need to enter your health card details before continuing.

If you select I will add my health card information later, you will be able to request a prescription refill immediately, however you may be charged for medications that are covered by your provincial drug plan.

On the Add Insurance screen, select Add a Policy or Card, then enter your insurance information and select Add.

If you have an existing policy with WEBC, your information will be added automatically.

Select Save and Continue to create your GreenShield Pharmacy account.

On the Navigation Bar, select Care Services and then Pharmacy, and then select Pharmacy.

On the registration page, enter your Preferred name (optional) and your Biological sex, then select Create Account.

On the Shipping Address screen, enter the address to which you would like to receive your medication, then select Save and Continue.
